1. Parties and acceptance
This website (drmuhsinbalaban.com, the “Site”) is operated by Assoc. Prof. Muhsin Balaban, MD — Androfert Men’s Health Clinic (the “Clinic”). Every visitor (“User”) is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
2. Purpose and scope
Articles, videos, images and tests provide general health information in urology and andrology. They are “information” within the meaning of the Turkish Regulation on Promotion and Information Activities in Health Services (Official Gazette 29.07.2023, No. 32263); they are not advertising and do not aim to direct patients or create demand. Information is limited to the physician’s specialty and based on scientifically accepted methods.
3. Not medical advice
No content creates a physician–patient relationship or replaces examination, diagnosis and an individual treatment plan. Every patient is different; consult a urologist for your complaints. In an emergency call your local emergency number (112 in Türkiye). See the Legal Notice.
4. Online tests
The IIEF-5 and PEDT questionnaires are screening scales used in the international literature. Results are a preliminary assessment only; they do not diagnose, recommend treatment or justify medication. Do not start or stop any treatment based on test results.
5. Forms and appointments
- Forms are for information and appointment requests only; an appointment is confirmed when our team calls you back and a time is agreed.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information about yourself and to apply on behalf of others only if authorised.
- Medical emergencies must not be reported via forms or WhatsApp; these channels are answered within 24 hours during working hours.
- The Clinic may decline duplicate, abusive or inappropriate requests.
6. Intellectual property
All text, images, videos, logos, design and software are protected under the Turkish Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846 and the Industrial Property Law No. 6769 and belong to the Clinic or its licensors. Short quotations with attribution and a link are permitted; copying, reproducing, modifying, republishing or commercial use without permission is prohibited.
7. User obligations
- Not to use the Site unlawfully or contrary to these Terms;
- not to threaten the Site’s security (automated submissions, scraping, malware, unauthorised access attempts);
- not to send abusive, threatening, spam or advertising messages through the forms;
- not to share third parties’ personal data without permission.
8. Limitation of liability
We take care to keep content accurate and up to date, but medical knowledge changes and content cannot cover every case. The Site is provided “as is”; uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free operation is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by mandatory law, we accept no liability for direct or indirect damage arising from decisions taken on the basis of the content, from third-party websites, technical failures or force majeure.
9. Third-party links
The Site may link to Google Maps, YouTube, WhatsApp, Doktortakvimi and other third-party services with their own privacy and usage policies; a link does not imply endorsement.
10. Personal data
Personal data is processed under the Privacy Notice, Explicit Consent and Cookie Policy.
11. Changes
These Terms may be updated without prior notice; the current text takes effect when published on this page. Continued use of the Site means acceptance of the current Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Istanbul (Bakırköy) have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rights of consumers under Law No. 6502.
